VUYOKAZI MTUKELA

REPORTING:
MIRIAM MAKEBA'S EXILE YEARS

Vuyokazi Mtukela feels a special
connection to Miriam Makeba’s
years spent distanced from her place

she draws parallels between the

South African singer and activist’s
stormy life in exile.
